This fully coupled run examines VP ice dynamics, lnd runoff, etc..
Resolution is T42 for atm & lnd and NCOM 2x2' for ocn & ice.
Improvements include: higher ocn resolution near equator, ocn BBL,
use of runoff in lnd & ocn, VP ice dynamics.

Resolution is T42 for atm & lnd and NCOM 2x2 for ocn & ice.

The CSM IPCC A1 Scenario in three segments:
1980-2000

from the atmosphere was kept for the first and third segments

- 20th Century (1870-1990) historical simulations (Sep 98)
These runs examine various combinations of time-varying sulfate,
greenhouse gases and solar input at T42 atm/lnd and 2x2 ocn/ice
resolution.

A low resolution CSM control integration (May 97)
A lower-resolution fully coupled control run. g008 + b004 combine
to form the control run presented at the June 97 CSM Workshop.
Resolution is T31 for atm & lnd and NCOM 3x3 for ocn & ice.

A primary CSM1.0 control integration (Aug 96 thru Feb 97)
This is an improved fully coupled control run (a 300 year simulation).
g006 + b003 combine form the improved fully coupled control run
(a 300 year simulation) presented at the June 97 CSM Workshop.
Resolution is T42 for atm & lnd, NCOM 2x2 for ocn and ice.

This is an improved ice+ocn spinup run.

use of runoff in lnd & ocn, VP ice dynamics.
- g008 (May 97)
A lower-resolution ice+ocn spinup run.
g008 + b004 combine to form the control run
presented at the June 97 CSM Workshop.
Resolution is T31 for atm & lnd and NCOM 3x3 for ocn & ice.
- g007 (Sep 97)
An ice+ocn spinup run specifically intended for experiment b007,
a "pre-industrial" control simulation.
Resolution is T42 for atm & lnd and NCOM 2x2 for ocn & ice.
- g006 (Jul 96)
This is an improved ice+ocn spinup run (replaces g005).
g006 + b003 combine form the improved fully coupled control run
(a 300 year simulation) presented at the June 97 CSM Workshop.

- g005 (Apr 96)
The first CSM ice+ocn spinup run (with "climatological data models"
standing in for atm & lnd components).
