CSM Experiment Series s020

This page documents the NCAR Mass Storage System filenames for the raw output from the 5 CSM runs which comprise the 21st century experiment. To access these Raw data files, you will need a login to the NCAR computer systems, which can be obtained from the SCD Computing request Page .

For most users, the s020 postprocessed data is more useful, since much of the postprocessed data is downloadable via the web without needing to get a NCAR login.

The five experiments in the s020 series are:

s020.01: 1990-2000 spin-up

s020.02: "Business-as-usual" (BAU) emissions simulation, years 2000-2080

s020.03: "Business-as-usual" (BAU) emissions simulation, years 2080-2100

s020.04: CO2 Emissions Limited simulation, years 2000-2080

s020.05: CO2 Emissions Limited simulation, years 2080-2100

Note: Small segments of missing data for s020.02 and s020.03 were rerun and saved under cases s020.02a and s020.03a.
