Diagnostic output to the log files consists of instantaneous hemispheric mean
fields at a user selected frequency. Included is the model step number, the
date (yyyymmdd, where yyyy is the year, mm the month, and dd the day), along
with the renormalization factors for the conservation of ice after minimum
values are removed. Then come a list of fields with max values (max cH) and
hemispheric area weighted (arwt) values. The frequency of diagnostic output
can be varied: see the CSIM User's Guide Version 4.
