3.2 Category

The number of ice thickness categories ($ncat$) is assigned in module $ice\_model\_size$. The state variables which vary with category are found in module $ice\_state$. Note that only aggregate quantities (i.e. averaged over the ice thickness distribution) are exchanged with the coupler.
