CSL | Climate Simulation Laboratory Proposal

CESM 2014-2016 CSL Proposal

CESM 2012-2014 CSL Proposal

The CSL | Climate Simulation Laboratory at NCAR is a dedicated climate model computing facility that supports the multiagency U.S. Global Change Research Program by providing high-performance computing and data storage systems to support large-scale, long-running simulations of the Earth's climate system, including appropriate model components, that need to be completed in a short calendar period. CSL allocations are made approximately every 18 months.

The deadline for submitting CSL applications is March 24, 2014. In a change from prior CSL periods, researchers must have funding from NSF awards to address the climate-related questions for which they are requesting CSL allocations.
