CCSM2.0 Parallel Ocean Program (POP)
What is CCSM2.0 POP?
The active ocean-model component of the Community Climate System Model (CCSM) is the CCSM2.0 Parallel Ocean Program (CCSM2.0 POP), which is based upon the Los Alamos National Laboratory's POP Version 1.4.3. It is supported on the high-resolution Greenland Pole grid (gx1v3), which is identical to that used by the Community Sea Ice Model (CSIM) ice model.
