Forced and Unforced Variability of droughts in monsoon regions

The objective of our project is to examine the robustness of projections for monsoons given the internal variability inherent to these systems. We will examine natural variability of monsoons on different timescales and the influence of warming on monsoons and their teleconnections with natural modes of variability.
