We are looking at decadal predictability of coupled-ocean atmosphere modes in the Pacific, with a particular focus on LIM methods. Initially, we want to use the LENS atmosphere monthly averages to plot spatial and temporal variability of the Pacific modes of climate, as well as related North Pacific and North American teleconnection patterns. We will then use the time series generated from SVD analysis of these modes to focus on LIM and predictability in this region.
