2019 Winter Working Groups

Good afternoon,

The weeks that the co-chairs have chosen to hold their winter working group meetings have been selected. At this point in time, I can only give you the week. Please let me know if you have questions.

22 - 25 January 2019 - Ocean Model Working Group
4 - 8 February 2019 - Polar, Land Ice, Paleo Working Groups
11 - 15 February 2019 - Land Model, Biogeochemistry Working Groups
19 - 22 February 2019 - Atmosphere Model, Whole Atmosphere, Chemistry Climate Working Groups
25 February - 1 March 2019 - Climate Variability and Change Working Group and Software Engineering Working Group (these are two separate meetings and will most likely be one day each)

Registration typically opens approximately 5-6 weeks prior to the week of the meeting. Please let me know if you have questions.

Webinar: Integrated (weather to climate) atmosphere modeling and CESM

Date/Time: September 24 at noon (MT)
Presenter: Andrew Gettelman

This webinar will discuss current status and plans for integrated (weather to climate) atmospheric modeling efforts, currently known as 'Singletrack'. We will present current plans and ideas. The majority of the time will be dedicated to feedback from the AMWG about how an integrated atmosphere model should work with CESM.
