Analyze the influence of natural variability on the simulated sea ice evolution, compared to the individual forcing simulations, to determine whether any of the forcings have an impact outside the range of natural variability. A special focus will be placed on the Little ice age, to analyze the role of volcanos on sea ice versus internal variability, as well as on the 20th century, to analyze the role of individual forcings to the simulated sea ice evolution.
